Buying bread that will last forever seems like a sin to me. That’s what I think of when I think of pre-packaged pizza dough. Doesn’t taste good, and half of the fun of making pizza is in the dough! This is easy, can be done in about 7 minutes. In a large bowl, mix together 2.5 C white flour (I used 1 C wheat flour for sub), 1 T baking powder, 1 tsp salt (I love garlic, I threw in 1 T garlic salt). Then add in 3/4 C water and 1 T oil (I use Olive Oil). It should NOT be sticky. If it is, add more flour.
Then roll it out right onto a cookie sheet. It turns out about as big as a cookie sheet. Then add toppings and cook for about 15 minutes (or until cheese is melty and gooey) at 400 degrees.
This crust was on the thicker side. You could easily cut the dough in half and make two thinner crust pizzas 🙂
1 T baking powder
1 T garlic salt, optional
1 tsp salt
3/4 C water
1 T oil
